New Year

Thank you Lord for everything.
I don’t have a resolution because I walked in God’s path and His plan is perfect. I am where I am supposed to be. I may have fallen short on tons of things but at the end of the day, I still let God take the wheel of my life.

I guess you can say that’s my secret to having no resolution.

On November 18, 2011, ten people were standing in the middle of the Segal School of Business’ lobby discussing their next move. Ahead of them were 2 intense days of building a mobile game that would change the way friends bet on sports games. There was an original idea, and now there was…

IMPOSSIBLE IS DEFINITELY NOTHING!

“By the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain …” —1 Corinthians 15:10

November 30, 2011

I learned on this verse that being meek towards God in terms of salvation or even just coming to Him maybe seen as a sign of humility to others but it insults God.

Confused? Let me explain.

A few years back I sinned a lot… and by that I mean like I was your typical teenager/early 20’s guy that was enjoying what this world had to offer and come Sunday or other church activities or services… I come before God and tell Him that I cannot be cleansed, I am not a saint or something. For other people they may see that as a sign of humbleness before God BUT to God, it is a heavy insult. It easily translates that God is powerless to change who I am, that what I am at the time is what I will always be and God cannot do anything about it.

I know for a fact a lot of CYNs suffer this kind of thought, that they are not good enough to be living under God’s grace but if you think about it, you are just simply making God powerless before you by thinking that… you’re pretty much saying He is not a God and that you are an impossible task to Him and yet we sing “Nothing is impossible”.

Put God to the test, He welcomes it even just on tithes. Live a pleasing life in His eyes even for just a week or two and see how things change… did things get better? or for worse?

What Do You Have To Lose?

“He will glorify Me …” —John 16:14

November 29, 2011

Noticing the difference of Holiness today and Holiness in the bible… we are very much fortunate. Before, even through the New Testament, there were sacrifices that are probably frowned upon if done at this time, no miracles or super “in awe” moments needed. Noone had to be crucified today for our Holiness.

All we need is simply just live by God’s grace.

Let us not forget that Jesus Christ died to save us from our own sins… to open the way to salvation. Our lives themselves are not even enough to repay our own God. As it said on utmost.org… Jesus is infinitely more than just a figurehead of religion. “He is salvation itself”

Everything has been handed to us… appreciating and simply following is the least we could do. What do we got to lose?

It's One Of The Most Basic Things

“… being justified freely by His grace …” —Romans 3:24

November 28, 2011

The right verse at the right time.

I am currently in a constant battle within myself and leaning unto God. I am still working on to being fully relying on God as I sometimes forget to not worry and leave it all up to Him. Sometimes I feel alone and forget that God is there… and remembering that He is my strength is still something I’m getting used to.

Another thing I got from this verse is that before I fully committed to God I was totally super mega to the max self reliant. I learned from this verse that if we are prideful then God can do nothing for us. God can only work when we let Him take the steering wheel and not say “I can do this by myself.” God’s grace works when we let it take over and manifest. Having the experience I had before crippled me and out of desperation, I went to God. Only by His grace I could stand today as God’s man… I may have my flaws but this time, I know what I must do about them and not just accept and keep doing it.

I guess it could be a tip or advice that one shouldn’t wait for that desperate moment and lean to God now… you know what they say, “Sooner is always better than later.”

God bless.
